In over half a century of contracting and development, the Leighton Group has recognised that our operations can have a significant effect on the communities in which we work.

We believe Leighton’s legacy should be more than a completed project.  Through our corporate community investment program, we are building stronger links with the community and helping to achieve positive outcomes, long after we finish our contract.

The Group actively supports youth and education projects, indigenous education, charitable and community organisations, disadvantaged groups and organisations that are committed to preserving our natural and built heritage.

During 2009/10, Leighton Holdings and its operating companies invested more than $5.5 million in community partnerships, sponsorships and charitable donations that align with our core value of recognising the needs of the community.

As the parent company, Leighton Holdings’ corporate community investment strategy is to complement and enhance our global reputation as an innovative and socially and environmentally progressive company.

Our program is focused on developing long-term partnerships with organisations that build Australia’s future skills base, protect the environment, support excellence through arts and culture and focus on Indigenous education and development.

We also support causes that are important to Leighton employees, through our workplace giving program and a series of smaller, untied donations to community organisations to encourage our staff fundraising and charity efforts.

Given our commitments to our key long term community investment partners, Leighton Holdings does not accept applications for partnerships or funding.
