Leighton Holdings Limited acquired a 70 percent shareholding in John Holland in February 2000, which increased to 100% in 2007. With over 50 years’ experience, John Holland is one of Australia’s best known construction and engineering companies. It has a strong market position and a reputation for providing flexibility and innovation in technically diverse projects and developments.

The company’s core competencies are non-residential building construction, civil engineering construction, rail maintenance and new rail construction, telecommunications services, asset management, and heavy industry and process engineering. John Holland operates throughout Australia.
