Al Habtoor Leighton Group, through its 45%-owned associate Al Habtoor Engineering, has been awarded a contract by Qatar Islamic Bank to construct the Al Faisal Tower in Doha.
The 227-metre high Faisal Tower consists of two basements, a ground floor and 52 floors of premium office suites.
The tower features a parapet top, is serviced by 10 lifts, and is clad in insulated aluminium cladding panels and curtain walling, with curved segmented glazing and a pre-cast concrete root with a helipad.
The Faisal Tower has a built-up area of more than 65,000 square metres and utilises district cooling.
The mezzanine level is furnished with retail, food and beverage outlets.
