Albany Grain Terminal

Description:  

Leighton Contractors and terminal owner CBH Limited worked as an integrated team to design, construct and upgrade facilities at CBH’s Albany Grain Terminal. The contract included the design and construction of 10 new steel cells to provide an additional 60,000 tonnes of storage capacity to the terminal along with upgrades to conveyors, grain elevators, and ship loaders. Dust control systems, mechanical instrumentation and electrical control systems were also enhanced.

Transport access was improved with the construction of upgraded rail facilities and new road inloading facilities.
