Habtoor Leighton Group has been awarded a contract by Al Rayyan Tourism Investment Company, for the expansion of the Doha City Centre in Qatar.
The project involves the construction of five towers with all having a direct link to the existing mall, the Doha City Centre, which is one of the biggest in the Gulf. The total built up area of the project is around 330,000m2. While the footprint of the podium is 27,000m2, the towers' footprint is 10,000m2, which narrows down to 700m2 at the top.
