
Al Habtoor Leighton Group has been awarded a contract to construct the Information Technology & Communication Complex (ITCC). It is a state of the art facility that will be used as the centre of commercial and industrial business operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ITCC offers a viable and attractive community of knowledge-based industries such as information technology, infocom technology, high tech research and development, and office and logistics solutions for multinational corporations. The ITCC will also include various support services such as retail, housing, cultural activities and recreation, integrated into a nature park-like environment.
A development area of 800,447 square meters especially allotted for technology, information and telecommunication, the project shall enhance the development of the IT and telecom sectors, increase the opportunities of involving Saudis in this vital field and open the market and opportunities for IT companies.
The site is located in the Al-Nakheel district, approximately 15 kilometres west of Riyadh city centre. It is on gently sloping terrain at the junction of two major roads - King Abdullah Road and Prince Turki Ibn Abdul Aziz Street.
The scope of works consists of the excavation and enabling works, construction of the structural frame, masonry works, complete architectural works including but not limited to metal works, wood works, thermal and moisture protection, doors and windows, aluminum and curtain wall finishes, elevators, specialties, special construction electro-mechanical and external works.
