Inner Northern Busway - Queen Street to Roma Street

Description:  

Leighton Contractors was awarded a contract to deliver the Queen Street to Roma Street Section of Queensland Transport's Inner Northern Busway project in Brisbane.

The project was delivered through an alliance with Queensland Transport, Leighton, Maunsell Australia and their partner firm Bassett Counsulting Engineers, Coffey Geosciences, Bligh Voller Nield, and sub alliance partner EDAW Gillespies.

The project included finalising the scope, design and construction of a busway connection between the exisiting Queen Street Bus Station and Roma Street, and a new busway section at King George Square.

Planning for the final section of the Inner Northern Busway between Roma Street and Countess Street was also delivered.
