Description:

Habtoor Leighton Group has been awarded a contract to construct the Iris Bay commercial tower for Sheth Estate International. The project is located in Dubai's Business Bay area on Sheikh Zayed Road.

The distinctive 40-storey tower is uniquely designed to represent the shape of a half moon. It features three basements and three podium levels for parking, a ground floor, a podium roof level, and 36 floors for office use with square shaped interiors. The project covers a built up area of more than 74,000 square metres and includes landscaped gardens, a swimming pool, a state-of-the-art clubhouse and restaurants.

The design comprises two identical, double-curved, pixilated shells which are rotated and cantilevered over the podium. The rear elevation is a continuous vertical curve punctuated by balconies, while the front elevation is made up of seven zones of rotated glass.
