Description:
Thiess has secured a mining services contract for the Lake Vermont Coal Mine which is located 18km north east of Dysart in Central Queensland.
Total mining operations include:
- planning
- drill and blast
- overburden removal
- coal mining
- coal processing, and
- maintenance of all fixed and mobile plant.
Since 2005, Thiess has assisted the Lake Vermont Joint Venture to develop mine plans and infrastructure requirements to support their mining operations.
