Leighton Contractors's division, HWE Mining, has been awarded a contract extension by BHP Biliton at the Orebody 23/25 mine near Newman in Western Australia's Pilbara region. 

The contract extension will see HWE Mining continue to provide complete mining services at the operation, including specialist fixed plant maintenance and mining services that will support and add value to future development.
