Description:  

Leighton International* has been awarded the Pipeline Replacement Project 2 (PRP2) by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) to construct offshore oil and gas pipelines in India's Mumbai high field, about 180 kilometres off the coast of Mumbai.

The project involves the engineering, procurement and installation of more than 200 kilometres of fixed and flexible pipelines of various diameters. Extensive pipeline crossings, installation of risers and tie-ins, and topside modifications on over 50 platforms will also be undertaken as part of the project.

*In 2011, operational responsibility for Leighton International's Indian activities were transferred to Leighton Welspun.
