John Holland, as part of an Alliance, has been awarded the Priority Sewerage Program (PSP) by Sydney Water. The Alliance includes MWH, Manidis Roberts, United KG, Sydney Water and John Holland.

The Priority Sewerage Program (PSP) has been established to provide improved sewerage services to outlying areas with Sydney Water's operating licence area. The PSP is part of Waterplan 21, Sydney Water's long term vision for sustainable waste water management across the entire Sydney, Illawarra and Blue Mountains regions.

The PSP is a tool that Sydney Water uses to provide sewer reticulation, transfer, treatment and discharge schemes within unsewered communities and townships. Specifically, the schemes are designed to improve public health and protect the environment especially local waterways and catchments.

The Alliance will deliver sewerage schemes in seven areas within the PSP Stage 1 program, including:
  • Brooklyn and Dangar Island
  • Coalcliff, Stanwell Park, Otford and Stanwell Tops
  • Jamberoo
  • Menangle and Menangle Park
  • Mt Kur-ing-gai Industrial Estate
  • Mulgoa, Wallacia and Silverdale, and
  • Upper Blue Mountains - Mt Victoria, Blackheath and Medlow Bath.
