Description:  

Leighton International* was the lead contractor for the design & construct project to build a dedicated highway linking Kuala Lumpur to Putrajaya, the new regional centre south of Kuala Lumpur, which houses the new Malaysian Government Administration Complex.

The highway consists of approximately 26 kilometres of 2 and 3 lane dual carriageway, of which 10 kilometres is elevated and 16 kilometres is at grade. There are four major interchanges and two toll plazas along the length of the highway. The project has allowed for modern design protocol inclusive of toll system, lightings, variable message signs, landscaping and noise barriers.
