John Holland Pty Ltd undertook construction work as part of the major redevelopment of Brisbane’s Southbank Education and Training precinct for the Queensland Government. It was the State Government’s first Public Private Partnership (PPP).

John Holland was one member of the Axiom Education Queensland team that successfully bid to redevelop, manage and maintain the precinct over 34 years. The Axiom Education Queensland consortium comprised of John Holland, ABN Amro and Spotless Facilities Management.

As part of the construction component, John Holland constructed four new buildings, the largest of which was seven storeys and formed the centre-piece of the project. John Holland also refurbished a further four buildings on the site.

The project was completed two months ahead of schedule.
