Description:  

Thiess Services has been awarded a range of waste collection and recycling contracts by local governments and councils in Victoria.

Thiess Services, through the Thiess Waste Management System (TWMS) provides a fully integrated, total waste management solution for the local government, offering:
  • waste management
  • supplier/sub-contractor negotiation
  • administration management
  • quality assurance
  • systems development
  • value management applications
  • occupational health and safety, and
  • industrial relations.

Thiess Services also operates recyclable recovery services and collects/separates paper, cardboard, glass, steel, aluminium and plastics and recycles building wastes. Recyclables are collected from drop-off centres, and in separate collection containers. Thiess Services is meeting the demand for efficient, responsible recycling processes through the innovative Materials Recycling Facilities (MRFs).
