Please be advised that the board of Leighton Holdings Limited has today reluctantly accepted the resignation of Mr Ian Johnson as a director of the company. Mr Johnson will remain a director of John Holland Group Pty Limited, a 70% owned subsidiary of Leighton Holdings Limited.

The Board wishes to thank Mr Johnson for his valuable contribution as a non-executive director since his appointment in 1997.
